6 days of chimpanzee tracking and gorilla trekking are incredible. Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Today you’re ready to transfer to this incredible western tropical of Kibale national park. When driving via Mityana –Mubende – Fort Portal city, this is a marvelous scenic drive through rolling landscapes. The continued drive drops you at Fort Portal city, enjoy your lunch at Fort Portal town. The drive straight to Kibale national park dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp (Midrange).
Day 2: Tracking Chimpanzees
This morning after breakfast, head to Kanyachu starting point for chimps tracking briefing, get assigned to a group of 8 with an armed ranger guide who leads your group into the jungle. Start the search which can last for about 30 minutes to 3 hours before finding the chimps, you have one hour in their presence, entertained by the juveniles, and eye to eye contact is a life time experience.
Return to your lodge for lunch and afternoon take a nature walk at Bigodi swamp sanctuary for nature walk rewards with sighting about 13 different primate species several bird species and other wildlife species can be sighted. The swamp is a birding paradise spotted with over 450 bird species.
Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp (Midrange)
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
The breakfast will be followed by a two hour drive to queen Elizabeth National Park. Will join the rest on a game drive at Kasenyi section to watch one of the highest concentration of antelopes, elephants, lions, buffalos among others. With a lunch en-route will drive to Mweya peninsular to consider taking this boat cruise of the meandering Kazinga channel. The boat cruise launches you into watching one of the world’s most populated hippo pool, crocodiles, lizards, many bird species and big games coming to draw water at the bank of the channel.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
This morning, will take drive via Ishasha sector southern of Queen Elizabeth national park watching the rare tree climbing lions. The section is on the It’s a rare experience finding lions relaxed in tree branches along the lion tracking their number of wildlife to encounter including bushbuck, kob, elephants, buffalos. Then with lunch en-route will proceed with your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park buhoma sector.
Overnight and dinner at Gorilla Mist Camp (Midrange)
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking
Enjoy your early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette. An armed ranger guide will lead to penetrate the impenetrable jungle to trek the world most endangered species. Trekking through the inflatable valleys and peaks to find the gorilla can take about 1 to 4 hours which is very tiresome but encountering these species all the worrisome is forgot and enjoy the view of these giants. Watch the mountain gorillas in the silent mode, taking photographs but the eye to eye contact with the silverback is a lifetime experience. When time allows, after the trek can visit the Batwa community.

Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala
This day following your breakfast, will board for your transfer back to Kampala, have a stopover at Mbarara for Lunch and proceed to the equator at Kayabwe for photographs. Continue on your drive to Kampala, drop off will be at Entebbe airport for your flight back
